I'm in the process of getting our upgraded server up off the ground, and as a part of that I installed SenseClusters today. I found that SVDPACKC seems to work fine with gcc version 4.2.3, at least as distributed with Ubuntu (server).
Recall that in some cases there have been problems with running SVDPACKC and version 4.x of gcc. In those cases we've found that about the only fix thus far is to back off to gcc322 or thereabouts. But, maybe this means there is some hope with more current versions of gcc.
