Well, my car's not quite done yet, but here's the details for anyone curious
or interested.
My 91 XE is almost put back together. All is painted fresh black except the
two driver's side doors. I got the mirrors all broken down and primered
along with the front grille today. I also, while the panel was off the
passenger side managed to get my Polk 5 1'4's to fit in the door panel(4
door) with a template and baffle. That was fun. Driver's side door is all
sanded to bare metal, and body filler is in the moldings, along with it all
over the door to help smooth out the panel in general.
It's taken longer than expected(started July 4th) but my dad and i also work
full time in the summer, and now I have school, so it's a spare time thing.
As for the real paintjob(GRAPHICS BABY!) I got many colors, from Jade Green
Metallic, Blue saphire pearl, Viper Red and Yellow, SchoolBus Yellow(read
orange), 3 reds, silver metallic, Chrisler purple met., all to go over an
airbrushed base of greys:) I can't wait to bust out the airbrush gun and
just go BIZERK!
