Wow, someone from the list actually knows/remembers me? /= 0

thanks for tip, Terrin, but i can't get in on the group deal for the
newly redesigned hotshot CAI's for several reasons (in no specific order of
importance):

     1. i am uncertain of my state laws (CA) for emissions/smog
testing,

     2. i think my first priority is suspension, and with the
Motivational setup it will setme back $1-1.5k including labor.

     3. i work for a non profit organization and don't have the money
i want saved up yet for engine work,

     4. unless there is some DEFINITE 'obselete date' for ga16de parts
for AUTO-TRANSMISSION 1.6's, i'm sure these parts and even
better parts will be out when i can afford them: in like 4-5
years. i'm saving up for a wedding while paying off car and
        college loans /= (.

i'm a 24 year-old who loves Sentras but am on a very low-budget. I have been
observing and taking notes in the past 4 or so months i've been with the
sentra.net list because when i do get the money for engine work, etc. i'll
know what to get and how, etc. ----i hope.
the tech knowledge and different personalities of this list has been
fascinating and funny to read through, i have to admit, and some day i would
like to have my own private mechanic shop.
i know people get ticked off with repetitive q's and seemingly
amateur-type inquiries, so i've been trying to keep a low profile and not
waste anyone's time. i am after all, an amateur to car work and car mods.
just taking notes and planning. i DO APPRECIATE you and other's help, like
mike k., however. but the fact of the matter is, my 'project 1.6'will be a
very gradual one, and right now my fund$ have to go to other debts.

i'll be around as long as sentra.net is around. taking this site for
granted would b a stupid thing for any sentra enthusiast (everyone in my
family wanted me to get a civic?!).
you know, i once asked where i can see past archives of the postings,
Terrin----but no one has answered this question. can you? i just want the
facts in plain, blunt terms. maybe scott knows?
this letter is probly more info than you expected or need, but i'll end
it here with my skeleton plan for my 1.6's future mods. all suggestions by
you or anyone else are greatly appreciated considering it is relevant. my
greatest confusion about where to go is with my engine.

on the down low,

  mike
