The place/hotshot are Cold Air Intakes which extend from throttlebody to the
inside fender well area. This placement allows them to have acces to colder
air which is denser. The denser/cooler the air ,the more volume of air is
sensed through the airflow sensor,more fuel is sent to ignite with this air
giving your engine more power.
The weapon r is a warm air intake which draws warm/hot air from your engine
compartment and does make a nice improvement overstock. The cold air intakes
are far superior in gains and have proven it by experience through countless
numbers of Sentra enthusiasist including myself i had both weapon r and place
racing. Its all what you want out of your car weapon r is a decent company
IMHO for certain things
and the intake did make a difference but nothing compared to the place racing
or hotshot.
