As far as I know, you can go from normal to synthetic without a problem.
But I think some people have complained about leaks if they go back to
normal from synthetic. As for fuel injectors, pretty sure most people put
in a bottle of fuel injector clear every couple months or so. I personally
put it in whenever I notice the slightest amount of performance loss,
usually about once an oil change maybe. Some do this and then a fuel system
cleaner once a year.
