I have a question about lowering my car. I have a 93 XE and I want to purchase
the Eibach Pro-Kit (which is supposed to lower my car Front: 1.3" Rear:
1.0") along with new shocks. I was going to go with Tokico shocks but they
are VERY expensive. ($99 each) Is there a decent shock I can use that is
about half that price. I'm not racing my car, just want to drop it and
maintain a decent ride. Also, once I install the shocks and springs and
my car is lowered 1.3 inches up front and 1 inch in the rear, is there ANYTHING
else I have to do to my car. (ie. cut the bumpstops, buy any other equipment)
I will probably purchase the equipment myself and have someone install them
professionally. Will they know what to do to my car for a totally proper
install?
I checked the FAQ and did not find this info. One last question, I heard
that Maaco is crap for painting cars. I heard they don't even sand and primer
your car...they just paint right over you existing paint. Has anyone ever
used them and are they really that bad? Thanx all.
