i just had a great stop light confrontation.its been months since i street
raced.i was at a light and this maxima pulls up next to me.we were alone and
no ther cars out front.when the light turns green to my surprise he nails it.
i was like oh sh#t!so i nail it ,already at a roll.my ser tb wide open and my
new cap and rotor burning full spark.i ran up to his drivers door then
shifted to second and leaped out ahead by a nose.then third we were neck to
neck untill the higher rev range where he edged out his front fender and
backed off the throttle.all i saw when he passed me at the next light was his
fat chrome tip of his exhaust.
my car is in perfect state of tune and his car was the gen maxima right
before the current gen.i also launched straight gas at low rpms. i think my
1.6 did pretty good.
with a decent reved up launch i would have smoked him .i cant say this for
all older maximas but this guy would be history.
i know he thought my car was an ser becase its an se and looks just like one
