Jay, Great job racing a maxima, I bet he thought it would be easy! Never
under estimate a car potential. You never know can be deseaving. Well, I have
a 94 sentra GA16DE and I have done a few bolt on parts like, headers,
modified exhaust (1 1/8 in to 2 1/4 in), Jacobs Electronics Ignition system
(boosts mili-jolts on spark plugs). My problem is when I punch it from a dead
stop it initially takes off good and then it gets sluggish like something is
holding it back. I don't receive a consist straight acceration and has some
hesitation. But once I get the RPMS up over 4,000 to 6,000 it does ok. It has
135,000 miles however it does not have any missing or anything. I thought I
need to clean my throttle body but I don't know what would be the best stuff
to use and how to clean it. I also thought I might need to change my timing
chain since I have never changed it and that it has mileage. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
