My air intake has a return line coming from my vavle cover blowing air in the throttle bottle. I cleaned my throttle body yesterday and looked in my intake with a flashlight and it had oil deposit buildup for the valve cover return line. If I disconnect the valve cover line from my stock air intake will it hurt my engine? The way I see it, Is if my intake manifold is nasty with oil deposits I wonder what my injectors and valves look like. Header Question: I recently installed a set of headers and it has a return line going under my intake manifold to a what appears to be some type of egr valve looking thing. If I disconnect it and block it off, will it make my car run better with having cooler air into my intake. Any assistance and good advise will be greatly appreciated.
