If you have an older model and are having syncro problems, then you might 
want to try Redline Shockproof light weight gear oil.  It really helped 
smooth shifting into gear without grinding with an 150,000 mile tranny.  You 
can get it at places that sell dirt bikes, quads, and things of that nature. 
  It runs about 8 bucks or so a bottle and for my 91 XE five speed, it took 
a little over 3 quarts I believe.
