I recently installed intelliglow ligths in my my car. For this i had to
remove the needles on my cluster. I have a 94 E and only have 3 needles. The
first two came out smoothly but the third didn't. The speedo one wouldn't
come out, and when it finally did, it didn't come out the way it's supposed
to. Instead of the needle head popping off, the whole shaft came out with it.
The ribbon on this shaft became undone and now the speedo doesn't work. How
would i go about fixing this. I migth have to replace the whole mechinism
behind the speedo, or get the ribbon re wound and recalibrated, or maybe even
buy a new cluster. Can anyone tell me of a place where i can get this fixed
in So. Cal. or anywhere for that matter.
In case your wondering intelliglow ligths make your needles ligth up a
certain color. I have blue E/L's and red needles. It looks sweet but now my
SH*T doesn't work.
