That is not true!  A Fiero is made of SMC or sheet
molding compound.  Bascialy SMC is made of short
strand fiberglass in a modified polyester resin binder
compression molded.  It is nothing trick or exotic.

A high powered rifle or any centerfire rifle for that
matter would go through it like butter.  Probably even
a .22 could go right through it.  In fact most pistols
would also penetrate it.
