Let me qualify that a bit, K&N flows better than
thicker foam that actualy filters. Real thin open
foam that does not do anything but strains out bolders
will outflow a K&N.
What size K&N did you go to from what size foam
element? How big was the element?
Also you cannot tell how fast your car is by feel, you
need to dyno test it. Well let me qualify that again,
it is hard to feel 1-3 hp. It take about 10 to really
tell.
