When I looked into having the head ported, the machine shop told me that
Amsoil racing oil was the only thing that they recommended. They said they
always ran this oil in the motors after breakin and there was no wear even
after a season of racing and that was drag car and track. Virtually no wear
on rings or cylinder walls and main bearings didn't wear either. They claim
it works wonders. Its also 5.35 a quart!
