i used a material called orthoplast. I get it for free at school since I am an athletic trainer. We use this stuff to make casts. Its a white hard plastic that can be placed in hot water and then it becomes malleable and will conform to any shape you want. I just cut out the 5 1/4" hole and zip tied the speakers to the plastic board, then I screwed the plate to the door.
