And it makes sense... the a/c compressor is directly connected to the rotation of the engine, and the blower is run off of the battery which is indirectly connected to the alternator. Therefore, with the a/c on you see a big difference, and with the blower at different levels, you may see only slight difference. If I were to guess, I would say less then .5 hp between 1st and 4th. hey whats up guys, i have a question or two, which may be stupid, but i thoughtd id ask. i know an ac uses engine power, what i was wondering, does the ac on level 1 use as much energy as on fan level 4. or is it the same with the fan blowing more... is there proof? like ac compressor works more or something. oh yea, what handles better, stock: a 94sentraxe or a civic98ex. ive driven both but was just wondering. different type of questions but questions that im wondering right now because im bored..thanks.
