Hello,
Quick question for the group.  Are people using actual or ideal body 
weight when measuring the 20 ml/kg fluid bolus metric?

My thought is that using actual body weight would be a good idea, because 
the recommendation is for that volume to be a minimum volume. Patients 
with higher-than-ideal body weights would end up getting more than that 
volume if actual was used, which would be a good thing.  And it is 
obviously more simple for the providers. 

Other thoughts?
