Dear All, I am in the midst of applying for a Position as a Performance Improvement Coordinator in our facility. I have sat on our Sepsis Committee and have been assigned to do audits on septic patients admitted to our ICU as well as being a bed-side nurse. How will being a Performance Improvement Coordinator facilitate our campaign in improving outcomes for our Septic patients? Since the creation of our Sepsis protocol, we as a hospital & embarrassingly in the ICU have failed to educate our nurses. Any suggestions on keeping our sepsis initiative alive?
