Hello All!
We have been screening all patients entering the ED in the triage/intake area
for a year now and we are now moving to have a mandatory rescreen. I am not
finding a great deal in the literature at this point. Does anyone have this
process in place or literature to support the timeframe when it should be
completed? Our initial thoughts are within 2 hours - this would allow time for
labs/test to come back and another set of vital signs and also would allow for
any positive screenings at this time to have bundle compliance with the
antibiotic timeframe.

Thank you all in advance for you feedback!
Brenda
