I am looking for recommendation on how to best acquire some benchmarking data related to severe sepsis and septic shock mortality, ALOS, fluid resuscitation, etc.? We currently are using an internal database to collect data for our internal hospital performance improvement initiatives surrounding sepsis, but I would also like to know what sources you may use or know of that would offer us to compare ourselves . Is this something that is currently or will soon be possible through the SSC database along with the new recommendations?
