I am curious what others are using as the threshold for remeasuring lactate? The SSC 6-Hour Bundle guideline is ambiguous in that it indicates to redraw the lactate if initially elevated, targeting normalization. However, the SSC Data Collection tool indicates to remeasure the lactate if the initial lactate was elevated >2 mmol/L (#11 under the 6-Hour Bundle): http://www.survivingsepsis.org/SiteCollectionDocuments/Data-Collection-Surviving-Sepsis.pdf. I am looking forward to your feedback. Thank you.
