Hello All,
We have started having our Urgent Care facilities give Broad
Spectrum Antibiotics when patient's meet Sepsis Criteria and need to be sent to
the ER. In the past we have been waiting until they were triaged in the ED,
however based on recent studies we have realized the earlier the antibiotic the
better for our patients. How do we put this into the Surviving Sepsis database
and submit to CMS? Will our Triage to Antibiotic time be considered 0? Is
anyone else looking at how to measure times concerning pre-hospital antibiotics?
