We implemented this in EPIC and had to pull it back because the BPA was firing on such a large group of patients that the nurses were becoming inundated with BPA's and it was affecting their work flow. We are looking at re-implementation in select units (med-surg) to see if we can have a better response to the alert. Since most of the patients in ICU and Telemetry met the criteria it was launching every time the nurses logged in on those patients.
