Hello, In the SSC 2012 guidelines, the recommendation is that antibiotics be given within one hour for patients with severe sepsis or septic shock. What is the recommendation for patients with sepsis in the ED? I have heard three hours, but I cannot find any documentation. Can you please clarify.
