Good Morning,

Would someone please direct me to the rationale for administering the
volume of 30mL/kg for all patients in septic shock? I am working with a
physician on sepsis bundle implementation, and he is concerned that this volume
could be too much for some patients. He is requesting to see the
evidence/rationale for this decision before he will approve our standing orders.

Thanks,

Kelli Hurn, RN, CPHQ
