Good Afternoon, I am writing to inquire if anyone has any literature or protocols on what is considered to be peripartum norms for vital signs/ signs & symptoms of sepsis versus postpartum norms. If you are screening for Sepsis in your OB population when is it appropriate to transition from the use of higher heart rates, WBC's, etc. to the 'standard' evidence based definitions provided by SSC and now CMS?
Any and all information you may be able to provide is greatly appreciated as we work through this still somewhat uncharted patient population.
