Folk, I'm about to start playing with Sequel, so forgive the newbie question. I'm building a novel type of model layer, and I'm looking for a competent fast lean cross-DB layer *just* does the SQL, no model stuff.
I understand that some work was done to separate the model layer from the cross-DB layer, so that you can use the cross-DB stuff without sucking in models. But when I looked at it a few weeks ago, it seemed like there was still a fair amount of model stuff left in the core. My question is, has this been fixed up now?
