Doesn't look like anyone has brought this up in this group yet, but
every time a new sequel version comes out I end up patching the MySQL
adapter because converting /all/ tinyints to bools is not always the
right thing.

I use primarily DBs that aren't created with sequel and don't adhere
to this 'standard', so I was wondering if there would be community
support for some kind of switch to turn the converting on or off per
connect, table, or query (kind of like the new typecasting stuff)?

I am no ruby genius, but if I could get some pointers in the right
direction, I could definitely try to make some kind of decent patch.

Three cheers for a tinyint to bool conversion kill switch!?
