I got my ruby-gems installation updated to 1.2.0, and then installed all of the other prerequisites to make hanna work (rdoc 2.1.0, echoe, hoe 1.7, haml 2.0.3). I then rebuild the Sequel 2.5.0 RDoc using hanna and uploaded it to http://sequel.rubyforge.org/rdoc/. I've set up the Rakefile to use hanna if it is available, and fallback to the default template if not.
