http://sequel.rubyforge.org/rdoc/classes/Sequel/SQL/VirtualRow.html You count distinct with: ds.select{count(:distinct, col1){}} # SELECT count(DISTINCT col1) FROM t When I use it: ds.select{[:p__ref_physician_code, count(:distinct, :p__chart_number).as(:cases)]} I get: `p`.`ref_physician_code`, count( `distinct` , `p`.`chart_number` ) AS `cases` What am I doing wrong?
