Ingo,
Can you also file a JIRA entry in Sequoia for this?
Have you done anything here? I still get the discussed error message in 2.10.3:
2007-01-02 00:31:32,164 ERROR continuent.hedera.adapters PullPushAdapter: Error
while reading from channel
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException
at org.jgroups.Message.getObject(Message.java:269)
at
org.continuent.hedera.channel.JGroupsReliableGroupChannel.receive(JGroupsReliableGroupChannel.java:216)
at
org.continuent.hedera.adapters.PullPushAdapter.run(PullPushAdapter.java:166)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)
I thought we did something but if you still have the problem then it is
probably not fixed yet.
In the meantime, you can force PostgreSQL driver in the controller
classpath (you can edit the controller startup script or set in in the
XTRA_CLASSPATH environment variable).

Is this really the case? Can it be that one error of this kind blocks further
communication?
That should not be the case because the thread properly catches runtime
exceptions to display this message. However, that means that the query
expecting a response will never get it, so this one is probably going to
hang.
Hope this helps,
Emmanuel
