i know there are examples which config-parameters i should use to start
sequoia (like -Xmx -Xms).
My questions are ...
- which jre do you prefer? (ibm, sun, bea?)
- which extra parameter do you use to get higher performance for your vm?
- Do you've some tips how to tune the vm?
We start our vm (sun | JAVA 1.6u1) with the following parameters:
-Xms3G -Xmx3G -XX:+UseLargePages
Of course we configured our Linux environment to use large pages
(/proc/sys/vm/nr_hugepages)
