I have never used static group configuration, but the lines bellow looks
strange for me:
<TCPPING timeout="3000"
initial_hosts="<HOST1>[7800],<HOST2>[7800]"
Why are you not specifying the exact IP addresses of <HOST1> and <HOST2>?
Also do you really need a static group and not a dynamic one?
