Hi Arnaud,

Well, without specific configuration details, error messages and exact commands used to reproduce the problem it is hard to help. There might be a problem with the backuper you use for your database since some dump tools don't capture some objects (temp tables, sequences, environment variables, ....).

Don't hesitate to share a specific scenario so that we can work on its resolution.

I tried to limit the load on the server ... now I can use sequoia. The controllers don't hangs anymore.

But often, when I replay logs (enabling a backend) I get sql errors ... I can't enable my backend anymore. Even if I get logs from another nodes. :(

Thank you for your help.

Arnaud.

Sorry, the previous one went too fast!

Hi Arnaud,

Myconfig is 2 collocated controllers with 1 backend each one. I'm using appia distribution.

I would like to know if it's normal that when I disable a backend, my other backend on other controller is stopping its activity.

No this is not normal.
You probably have a group communication problem. If you connect to the controller where the backend is supposed to be active, what does the 'show backend' command output?

Keep us posted with your findings,
Emmanuel
