I agree with Ondrej - there is no 'do-it-gradually-and-nice' way around 
it: 1/this part should really be fixed (with arguments as both user and 
devel.) , 2/newest logging macros are not always used with new code, 
right now, after so much time of 'accommodation'.
I don't know if it is a good moment or not, but, if not mistaken, 
OpenSER had this fixed quite some time ago; so, it will have to be 
considered somehow, anyway. At best, with merging, a/the better solution 
will be applied to this part, as well.
