Use the version of Avalon technology shipped with James. There will be a
release using the latest Avalon bits.
At this time, I don't believe that there will be a merlin-only version,
especially if people ask us to continue supporting the phoenix container.
For that matter, if the JContainer continue supporting the existing Avalon
interfaces, that should work, too.
However, you should also visit Avalon, and make clear to them what you feel
needs to be done. They want to converge all over the features into a single
container.
