In James 2.1.2, james.smptserver.SMTPHandler uses the BufferedReader readLine() method to read envelope command lines from the input stream. According to the JavaDoc, this method terminates a line upon receiving any one of: a line feed ('\n'); a carriage return ('\r'); or a carriage return followed immediately by a linefeed. I have confirmed this with tests: James accepts either a line feed or carriage return alone as a line terminator for envelope command lines. --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
