I was prepared to the "do it yourself" answer :-) Everytime I look to avalon/cornerstone updates I loose myself around plenty of new "libraries/frameworks/components/containers" replacing avalon/phoenix/cornerstone :-( I really don't understand the whole branch tree that has been created and the specific projects responsibilities. I think that we can remove phoenix/avalon dependency from james but we will depend on cornerstone for a long time, so it's better to know how to check cornerstone status! I've just subscribed to excalibur developers mailing list to monitor what happens. Looking at the archives I see they are releasing an RC2 on August, the 14: good to know that excalibur is alive :-) (as it contains cornerstone).
