Searching the Derby user list for 'full text indexing'
brought up...

That's the next step. Figuring out what SQL Derby
supports, how Lucene ranking works? etc. Least one
person got them talking.
Lucene returns partial matches and gives those a rank
below 1.0, with 1.0 an exact match correct? Maybe
we only consider a hit a match if the score is 1.0 to
be compliant? I will look into that further.
