We should follow a different iter for this.
I don't want to tag the branch (and have an alpha number) for each bug
fixed ;-)
So I think we should tarball this, with no tags and no official "name":
committer are asked to check this out before we tag the release, when
we'll vote for this any minor or medium bug will not block us from
making a release.
As I said I would have released also the alpha 3 and explained the known
bug for file based users repository in the release notes.
We had enough +1 to do the release.
