Joachim Draeger commented on JAMES-502: --------------------------------------- Hi! Instead of dealing with the original test cases I continued with exploratory testing. All basic commands are working now with the javamailstore-mailrepository backend and are covered by unit tests. This works quite stable with Thunderbird Version 1.5.0.4 (20060615) (Ubuntu 6.06 Linux). Folders: create/rename/move/delete Messages: create/copy/move/flags/delete There is an issue with autocreating Drafts folder when storing a message. Works on the second attempt. All Folders are subscribed automaticly, messages are expunged at deselect. I don't do any integration tests with james at the moment in favor of using the ImapServerLauncher. You need javamaildir, javamailstore-mailrepository, and imap from my svn repository and James/Trunk, see the instructions above. You don't need to build anything, just put together the classpaths in your IDE. I want to concentrate on documentation now. 1. Roadmap 2. requirements for Imap capable James MessageRepository 3. This is just a container for the > IMAP efforts and updates. > Many times in the list people ask the current status, the missing steps, and > more. We should add subtasks to this issue to clear up things. > If you're willing to help with IMAP support for James please read mailing > list archives and this issue history and discuss in the list what you're > willing to do. > I (Stefano) will be happy to help for everything related the James/Avalon > integration and the correct service interactions, but I don't know anything > about the IMAP protocol itself. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
