Currently, the retrieved mails are only read and size is recorded.
This is not enough to cover any testing.
New feature: For every MailSender (= <send />-sections in xml configuration) a
validator class can be defined to check the integrity of the mail or check if
the operations which should have been executed on the mail while processed by
the server where successful.
Example: add a MailSender to generate mails with EICAR test virus attachement
(already currently possible through custom MailFactory). then, make the new
custom Validator check the mails to contain a virus flagging header after going
through the mail server.
