Include a warning is enough. We already marked the whole stuff as
EXPERIMENTAL and we say that it will change in future releases.
Beside that I would prefer to remove the whole handlerchain
configuration/references if this let us avoid possible 2.3.0 delays
because of bugs in that code.
If we release 2.3.0 final soon we can start working on 2.4 and add this
and much more new features!
Remember: 2.4 === LOW-RISK, HIGH-VALUE.
