innovate, but it will die for sure if we don't maintain openness and
the oversight of the community.

There are two sides to this and we need to strike a balance, being an
ASF project means that we can't just do what we want, there are ways
in which we are expected to behave, and the reason for this is to
ensure that we have a sustainable community with proper oversight,
auditable decision making, and legal protection for the commiters.
