Ahmed

As you observe, there is a lot of good stuff already in trunk, but the
changes there are quite major and not all of them backwards compatible.

There is also a lot of work going on to componentise James to make it more
easily deployable in a range of environments beyond the Avalon container we
have relied on in the past.

We have yet to decide which of these many features should make it into a
release and the nature of the release. A major release allows us to add more
features with more radical changes. A minor release would allow us to add
some new features constrained by the need to maintain backwards
comptability.

It will inform our discussions if you can elucidate on the features you see
in trunk "that user's are waiting for years".

Cheers
