Robert Burrell Donkin commented on IMAP-76:
-------------------------------------------

This implies some design changes to the API. Mailbox names should be abstracted
and the API should be responsible for resolution.

> RFC2342 is used by some clients (notable Thunderbird) to obtain the hierarchy
> delimitator. Unless this IMAP Namespaces are available, these clients will
> not see subfolders.
> James IMAP does not currently support shared folders or access to other users
> folders. This would just be initial support for Personal Space allowing the
> heirarchy deliminator to be passed to the client.
