The current MailboxMetaData #isNoInferiors boolean should therefore be replaced
by an enumeration: NO_INFERIORS, HAS_CHILDREN, HAS_NO_CHILDREN, UNKNOWN. The
implementation approach can be safely delegated to individual mailboxes.
