Hi All,

Let me thank you Eric for the nice introduction to the Apache James
community. My name is actually spelled "Mihai Soloi",

Sorry Mihai for the mistake...

and I am very
anxious to meet all of you. This is my first GSoC, and my first
implication in an open-source developer community. Even though I wished
to be involved before, I never knew how to approach open-source
projects, perhaps I was a bit skittish and the projects really big, but
GSoC seemed as a good way to start. Right now the only person I know in
the community is Eugen Stan, which is my compatriot, good friend and
colleague. I am a very friendly and an open minded individual and eager
to meet you all. Most of my skills are listed on the proposal, as well
as my educational background, what i haven't mentioned is that I've also
coded in C/C++, using MPI and openMP for faculty projects, and some
Python, Javascript and front-end java technologies like JSP's.

I will create my repository on apache-extras right now. I already have
the mailbox and server projects on my workspace and have been running
the tests and debugging my way through the code. I've been following the
users and development lists for for the past month.

Thank you for this great opportunity,
Mihai

So Welcome Mihai and Wang to the Apache James community!

Mihai, Wang, we extensively use the james dev list and JIRA system to
communicate and follow up what is done. I'm sure you already have all
the needed support from your mentors, but we love to hear from you in
the public :)

As next step, just present your-self, and if not already done yet,
create your repository on apache-extras.

Thx again,

Eric
