Eric Charles commented on JAMES-1419:
-------------------------------------

Hi Yang,

For outgoing traffic, you can define gateway and gatewayPort on your
RemoteDelivery Mailet (see
http://james.apache.org/server/3/dev-provided-mailets.html and
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/app/tags/apache-james-3.0-beta4/src/main/resources/mailetcontainer-template.conf)

For incoming traffic, we don't have round-robin forwarding, and you may come
into conflict with the configuration you made to for the outgoing traffic.

Btw, Better to use the mailing list to ask questions
(http://james.apache.org/mail.html) :)

> How to make James as a SMTP proxy?
> I have 5 servers, but only 1 server can go through Internet and only the
> email directly from this server can be sent out. So I think how to set up
> this server as proxy server
