Short answer: No, we plan to do an upgrade of the project to Java 21 for
version 3.9.0. No backports.
If you can't send emails (which I find odd... you sure you did try to subscribe
to the list first before sending an email to it?), there is a gitter also where
people can answer these kind of questions:
